“But who do you say that I am?”

In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, we hear Jesus ask the question, “who do you say that I am?” How would you answer? You might wonder, does Jesus even care about my personal response?

Jesus desires for us to know him on a personal, intimate level.

More than simply head knowledge, Jesus desires us to know him with our hearts, souls, and mind. We know this through the words, emotions, and actions of Jesus himself. When you look at how he lived, his years in public ministry, and his words, it becomes clear that Jesus did the hard things. Jesus saw the needs and deepest desires of peoples’ hearts and drew near to the struggling, the broken, and those in need.

Now it’s your turn to draw near to him.

Let us walk with you to a deep, intimate encounter with Christ.

We are inviting you to join our community as we journey together to better know, to love, to follow Jesus. This six-week virtual retreat, beginning on Monday, October 3, and ending on Sunday, November 13, is an invitation to know, love, and follow Jesus in a deeper and more intimate way. We invite you to intentionally pause, pray, and embrace a path of intentionally encountering Christ.

This unique online retreat, based on the 500-year-old wisdom of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola provides an individual retreat experience within a virtual community of faith.

Leaning on the second week of the Spiritual Exercises and seeking the grace to better know, love and follow Jesus, we will dive into Gospel scriptures using the prayer tool of Ignatian Contemplation. Along with community support, we’ll walk with you through a plan for daily prayer, NEW guided audio prayer reflections, guided Ignatian meditations, and other spiritual tools. Each week there will be an opportunity to gather and share the graces of the retreat on a community wall.

The purpose of this retreat is to provide you accompaniment and a plan to get to know Jesus more intimately, to love him more intensely, and to follow him more closely. Each of the six weeks of the online retreat focus on a different grace:

  • Week 1: To be open to an intimate encounter with Jesus
  • Week 2: To know Jesus loves me unconditionally and calls me to be part of his mission
  • Week 3: To know Jesus hears my cries and wants to tend to them
  • Week 4: To know Jesus sees all of me and seeks to forgive and heal me
  • Week 5: To know Jesus desires intimacy with me and seeks to reveal himself to me throughout my life
  • Week 6: To know that Jesus calls me specifically and in a particular and unique way

Together with our team of Ignatian prayer guides, we will help you more intimately encounter Jesus and gain a closeness that will bring more clarity to how you live that in the world.
